About the ticket

Sponsored participants will receive tickets from organisers and when arriving at Entebbe airport, they will be picked from airport to the hotel pre-reserved for them. Self-funded participants are required to inform ARCOS secretariat about their itineraries and flights as soon as possible. As Mbale is far from Kampala (4hrs drive), a transit hotel, Ridar Hotel in Seeta, Kampala, has been reserved. For more details about the hotel visit the Ridar Hotel website here. Only sponsored participant’s accommodation (if necessary) at the transit hotel will be catered for. The organizers of the WMF will cover participants transport details to Mbale. Buses will pick participants from Ridar hotel on Monday 17th October 2016, in the morning hours.

The average elevation of Mbale town is 1,200 masl. This means the temperatures remain relatively cool all year round and chilly at night especially during the dry season from June to September.
